The double-wall design of this lab fume hood forms a plumbing chase for seamless routing and connection of all services. Standard features include stress-relieved polypropylene superstructure, sealed interior LED lighting, and a counterbalanced polycarbonate view screen. Optional features include PVDF or flame-retardant polypropylene lining, composition stone or modified epoxy resin work surfaces, air flow alarm systems, remote-controlled service valves, and rear exhaust duct wash-down systems.
When performing experiments or testing for applications such as trace metal analysis or analytical chemistry, the NU-162 fits the bill as an acid digestion fume hood , standing up to a wide range of chemicals with with a rust-and corrosion-resistant design. Polypropylene fume hoods are the preferred material for many applications.
